BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles caused by normal muscle movement. It is extremely safe and has been used for medical as well as cosmetic purposes for over 10 years. It is injected under the skin into areas around the eyes (crow’s feet), between the eyebrows (worry or frown lines), forehead, chin, lip (to smooth vertical lip lines) and in neck bands. Made from a purified protein, BOTOX® relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles by creasing the skin with their movement. When injected in between the brows, a brow lift can occur. BOTOX® may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms.
